Baked Dill Garlic Tofu Bites

Calling all professional snackers, This recipe is for you!

This is a super quick and very delicious recipe thats great for on-the-go, a fancy looking hors d'oeuvre or just quick snack :)


Ingredients

  • 1 14. oz block of Extra Firm Tofu

For Marinade

  • 2-3 sprigs of dill, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • 2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp tamari or soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. To press the tofu, place the tofu on a layer of paper towel or a dish towel, place a cutting board over your layered tofu and a heavy object like a cast iron or 3 cans. Let sit for 15-20 minutes to remove the moisture from the tofu

  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients to the marinade.

  3. Once the tofu is ready, chop into small squares and toss in with the marinade.

  4. Let the tofu marinade for about 20 minutes or more if you desire.

  5. Preheat the oven to 375, place tofu blocks on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.

optional:for extra crispy bites, broil for 5 minutes.
