Quick Bites: Baked Acorn Squash

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 acorn squash

  • 2-3 sprigs of thyme

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Olive oil

  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut acorn squash in half, remove all seeds and set aside

  2. Once all the seeds have been removed, cut into half moons

  3. In a bowl, mix in seasonings, olive oil and squash

  4. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

pro tip: broil the squash for 2-3 minutes for get a crunchy outside
